History & Identity of ICOFADARE

Understanding our roots and our mission in the global fight against drug abuse

Global Presence

ICOFADARE is an International Non-Governmental Organization with its global headquarters established in Yaoundé, Cameroon (Administrative District, P.O. Box 14228). It is recognized as a legal entity in all its host countries, including Cameroon, Switzerland, and France.

Global Initiative

Founded in 2020, this initiative brings together experts from various fields: health, education, transport, sports, and civil society. It continuously integrates government institutions and companies to combat this global scourge. Registration: M012618349708E.

UN SDG Alignment

Our work aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 3 (Good Health — target 3.5: prevention and treatment of substance abuse), SDG 4 (Quality Education), and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions).

The Challenge We Face

Over 3 billion people are identified as vulnerable worldwide. Addiction — whether chemical or behavioral (digital addictions, gambling) — erodes economic pillars, destabilizes families, and compromises collective public health. ICOFADARE responds to this crisis through an integrated Three-Dimensional Mechanism: Prevention, Management, and Rehabilitation.

Our Vision

"To lead a global transition toward a substance-free civilization, restoring human dignity through scientific intervention, multidisciplinary education, and systemic reintegration of vulnerable individuals."
Operational Framework

The 3D Mechanism

An integrated ecosystem covering the past, present, and future of the addiction journey

Prevention

Reducing demand through education, cognitive resilience, and media literacy. Primary, secondary, and tertiary strategies.

Suppression

Cooperation with security services to disrupt trafficking networks and the socio-economic determinants of the drug trade.

Support & Management

Multidisciplinary Care Model (MCM): supervised medical detoxification, CBT therapy, digital detox clinics.

Rehabilitation

Socio-economic reintegration programs, skill acquisition centers, "Clean Start" employment network, and blockchain registry.

Branch Mission

Mission of the National Executive Council — Indonesia

Localizing the 3D Mechanism across the Indonesian archipelago, from Jakarta to Surabaya, to address urban and digital addictions.
